The Sr. Product Specialist for Cytiva is responsible for Lab AKTA products support to drive and sustain the business in China.
This position is part of Discovery & Medical Modality team located in Chengdu and will be fully remote. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role you will have opportunity to
Be accountable to achieve Product/Solutions/Service orders and sales OP target for assigned accounts and or territory.
Maintain up to date detailed knowledge of their product/solution/services. Be able to present and discuss the technology and clinical benefits in terms which are relevant to customers
Drive tender/bid process including the needs qualification, vendor selection, quotation and closure of their product/solution/service opportunities.
Build strong business relationships and formulate account relationship plans within the assigned accounts/ territory. Identify & respond to key account technical and departmental decision makers’ needs.
Attend conference /seminars and give presentation to promote related products and solutions.
Provide product training and troubleshooting to maintain customers’ satisfaction
Collection latest competition information and give insight on competition strategy.
The essentials requirements of the job include
Master’s Degree of Protein Sciences or minimum 2 years of technical support/selling experience in a life science (protein purification and protein engineering etc.), biotech and medical field.
Previous experience in the Protein Research or Biopharma Downstream Industry is preferred.
Ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of solutions based technical support/sales approach.
Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
Strong capacity and drive to develop career.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language as well as good command of English.
Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Able to travel.
