Responsibilities
  • Implement and refine social media marketing strategies across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other relevant platforms
  • Engage with potential readers in targeted online communities and groups to promote books and authors
  • Manage and grow dedicated social media accounts and groups for various book genres
  • Execute and optimize social media advertising campaigns to boost visibility and sales
  • Coordinate the distribution of free book copies in exchange for honest reviews
  • Manage and expand email lists, crafting engaging email marketing campaigns
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports on engagement, growth, and sales
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance and expand our existing marketing playbook
  • Research and recommend new marketing strategies and tools to stay ahead of industry trends
  • Work independently while maintaining clear communication with the team


Requirements
  • Proven experience in social media marketing, preferably in the publishing or content creation industry
  • In-depth knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media platforms
  • Strong written communication skills in English, with the ability to craft engaging and error-free content
  • Experience with social media advertising and analytics tools
  • Familiarity with email marketing best practices and list management
  • Basic understanding of Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) platform and algorithm
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to marketing
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for books and the publishing industry
  • Availability for one EST-friendly meeting per week
  • Comfortable with a flexible 20-hour work week schedule
