Job description

The Vice President of Regional Servicer (Lender Placed Insurance) LPI will play a critical role in expanding our product offering into regional servicers (25k – 250k loan portfolios). They are responsible for defining and executing the product development and distribution strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall Lending Solutions business objectives, and delivering profitable growth in the regional servicer segment.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the mortgage loan servicing space with a strong product management and leadership record of accomplishment.
 

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?  

  • Product Growth Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive product growth strategy that aligns with the Lending Solutions business's vision, mission, and growth objectives. Understand the company's strategic vision to develop product vision, team goals, and aligned roadmaps that are prioritized to meet business needs and build value for customers.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities. Ensure our solution line meets their needs and expectations, converting prospects to new clients.

  • Client Strategy Understanding: Understand client strategies and client-facing opportunities to thoroughly vet customer problems and needs, using that information to deliver value for clients and the company.

  • Business Development: Engage in direct and consultative business development activities to win, implement, and retain client pipeline opportunities.

  • Product Lifecycle Oversight: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development of existing solutions for large servicers to new solutions for regional servicers, to launch and post-launch support, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Product Enhancement Management: Oversee the creation of product enhancement and change requirements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and detail for use by internal partners who support product delivery.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, technology, and other departments to ensure seamless integration and alignment of product strategies and initiatives.

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, leveraging insights to inform product development and strategy.

  • Team Leadership and Influence: Lead and ensure buy-in from a cross-functional team via influence, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability for executing long-term roadmaps and priorities while focusing on sustainable growth, customer value, and engagement.

  • Cultural Champion: Champion a culture of creativity, scientific thoughtfulness, and data-informed decision-making to support the business and strategy.

  • P&L Management: Manage product line P&L for the Regional Servicer LPI segment, optimizing resource allocation and investments to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

  • Performance Measurement: Establish and track key performance indicators to measure product success and identify areas for improvement. Identify and implement best practices to measure success, including financial objectives, implementation schedules, and important milestones.

  • Solution Advisory Support: Provide solution advisory support for enterprise sales deals in collaboration with business development and account management teams.

  • Stakeholder and Partner Expertise: Provide stakeholders and partners with subject matter and industry expertise to ensure product alignment and optimal product utilization.

  • Special Projects Participation: Participate in special projects to support client development and retention.

  • Implementation Collaboration: Work closely with implementations and technology teams to ensure timely delivery of products/solutions.

  • Sprint Participation: Participate in Sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings, providing feedback, including user stories and scenarios.

  • Business Development Execution: Directly manage and execute Regional Servicer LPI business development, focusing on defining disruptive and differentiating strategies and client-specific value propositions to drive sustainable and profitable growth.

  • Leadership Collaboration: Collaborate and align with leadership teams to ensure execution on identified strategic objectives.

  • Sustainable Growth Responsibility: Responsible for the sustainable growth of the business by increasing revenue year over year.

  • Value Proposition Development: Continuously develop, refine, and articulate value propositions and differentiated positioning.

  • Consultative Sales and Marketing: Engage in consultative sales and marketing activities to win business through new prospects and new services.


What are the requirements needed for this position?  

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field

  • A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible product roles, with experience in B2B2C, working with or for mortgage lenders or servicers.

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience serving in a senior leadership role within a global organization.

  • Proven ability to think strategically and execute methodically.

  • Ability to design, implement, and run projects with a process methodology.

  • Strong business and technology experience with specific experience working with technically focused personnel in product management or a similar role.

  • Experience developing use cases, scenarios, requirements, and product roadmaps, focusing on deepening our value to our customers.

  • Ability to leverage and translate competitive insight into clear product recommendations.

  • Strong understanding of industry trends, issues, and emerging technologies across all industries we serve, such as retail, telecommunications, and OEMs.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and allocate resources dynamically, strategically, and execution-oriented.

  • Exceptional depth of functional and system capabilities, including an in-depth understanding of client back-office systems and how to integrate them.

How much should I expect to travel?  

  • Up to 35% of annual travel.

Pay Range:

$141,400.00 - $236,100.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
