About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic BDR Manager to lead and develop our Business Development Representative team. This role is responsible for driving pipeline generation, refining outreach strategies, and coaching a high-performing team to exceed targets. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with a deep understanding of outbound sales, lead qualification, and sales enablement tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BDRs to achieve and exceed pipeline and revenue targets.
Define and optimize inbound and outbound sales strategies, including cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn engagement.
Monitor key performance metrics (KPIs), providing insights and action plans to improve efficiency.
Develop training programs and sales playbooks to enhance team performance and messaging.
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to align strategies and optimize lead generation efforts.
Utilize CRM and sales engagement tools (Salesforce, SalesLoft, etc.) to track performance and refine workflows.
Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent within the BDR team.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, feedback, and high performance.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.
Proven success in outbound sales and lead generation, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment.
Strong analytical skills with experience using CRM and sales automation tools.
Excellent coaching, communication, and leadership abilities.
Ability to build scalable sales processes and drive team accountability.
High energy, results-oriented mindset with a passion for developing talent.
Collaborative team player with experience working with cross functional teams
Positive attitude and a strong ability to take action and responsibility
Highly organized and excellent time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a high-growth startup or tech environment.
Familiarity with sales methodologies like MEDDIC, Challenger, or SPIN Selling.
Strong understanding of market research and prospecting techniques.
