The opportunity

TechnologyAdvice recently acquired an agency called Avani Media. As a newly added “Agency” division of TechnologyAdvice, Avani Media specializes in digital advertising, marketing, and lead generation for B2B tech companies. Our mission is to drive revenue growth for our clients through innovative and data-driven strategies. We provide comprehensive agency services to TechnologyAdvice and its clients, working with a diverse portfolio that ranges from emerging startups to established industry leaders in the technology sector. As an integral part of TechnologyAdvice, we are committed to fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment where every team member can thrive.

The Strategic Account Director will lead our selling motion, help with our go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and acquire and grow clients globally, including in North America, EMEA, and APAC. This individual will play a key role in generating new revenue, expanding existing accounts, and building strong client relationships.

What you'll do
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, outreach, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying expansion opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Create and present compelling value propositions to prospects and clients.
  • Negotiate and close deals, managing objections, and contract discussions effectively.
  • Track and report key sales metrics to leadership while driving pipeline growth.
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

 

Who you are
  • 4+ years of agency experience with a strong understanding of Omni-channel marketing strategies and solutions.
  • Familiarity with the B2B tech space selling content syndication, media planning, paid media, SEO, and related services.
  • Proven success in closing 6 to 7-figure deals with a track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Skilled in building and managing long-term, strategic client relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and operate autonomously.
  • Highly self-driven with a hunter mentality, actively prospecting and leveraging networking to expand client base.
  • Expertise in crafting and executing sales strategies that drive client growth and adapt to market changes.
  • Strong perseverance in navigating complex sales cycles and overcoming obstacles to close deals.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in tailoring sales approaches to the unique challenges and needs of medium and large businesses in the tech vertical.

Salary Range
We seek to hire top-tier individuals and intend for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision. Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.

Base pay range represents 50-60% of total OTE, with remaining OTE based on earned commission.

$75,000$150,000 USD
