Prelim is seeking a results driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and be at the forefront of fintech, helping to increase access to banking for millions of people.
As a Business Development Manager at Prelim, you will be able to craft and shape out product expansion strategy and execute on new business initiatives.
You will:
Focus on driving distribution of Prelim's product lines through partnerships with financial institutions i.e. banks, credit unions, and other related organizations
Lead all aspects of deal execution with independence and autonomy: identifying and prioritizing new product lines, meeting with financial partners, business case development, closing/signing, and product launch
Partner with internal teams, spanning Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Legal, and more
Be accountable for the profit and loss of your product line
You may be a fit for this role if you have:
An MBA or JD graduate from a top U.S. University
A passion for improving access to financial services coupled with a relentless drive to execute on our mission
3+ years experience in signing, launching, and growing businesses or business lines
Excellent project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional, high stakes initiatives
Strategic thinking with ability to identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills both written and verbal
A love for working in a fast-pace environment and taking the initiative to get stuff done and try something new
A commitment to working in a collaborative environment, working together as a team
