Job description

POSITION: Associate Director, Digital Communications

 

The salary range for this position is between $170k and 200k 

Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience. The company also currently offers a Long-Term Incentive Plan (cash plan) of 20% base salary, annual performance bonus target of 20% base salary (subject to meeting plan requirements) and comprehensive health benefits (employer funded), unlimited vacation time and 401k plan (subject to change or modification from time to time).


POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate Director, Digital Communications is an integral part of the Averitas marketing team. Working closely and collaboratively with other members of the Averitas team and external vendors, the Associate Director, Digital Communications is responsible for advancing and implementing Averitas’ efforts to deliver personalized, data-driven, and customer-centric marketing experiences that drive engagement, enhance brand presence, and achieve business objectives. The scope of responsibilities include planning, recommending and supporting Averitas’s omnichannel marketing strategy as it relates to Averitas and its marketed products. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Brand Planning
    • Partner closely with the brand team leads to ensure understanding and execution of the brand strategy.
    • Partner with Marketing to understand the omnichannel brand plan, present recommendations and integrate omnichannel-enabled and CX driven tactics across the ecosystem including, but not limited to, television, CTV, web, mobile, social media, SEO/SEM and Point-of-Care to deliver result-driven digital campaigns.
    • Contribute thinking and content towards annual brand/tactical planning, QBRs, and National Sales Meetings.
  • Digital Marketing
    • Subject matter expert for the Company’s digital engagement plan and internal liaison for all websites and digital assets.
    • Implement and optimize digital marketing to increase acquisition and appropriately drive traffic to branded, unbranded and corporate websites.
    • Create dashboards, data visualizations, campaign and website performance reports in partnership with Commercial Ops.
    • Collaborate with brand marketing, sales, medical affairs, market research, commercial operations and external partners to define success, identify key performance indicators, and analyze performance of digital marketing programs on an ongoing basis to provide actionable insights.
    • Deliver a cohesive and coordinated approach to messaging, content, data, search, media and metrics across the organization to drive focus on outstanding execution and continuous optimization.
    • Lead submission and approval of omnichannel marketing tactics through the Legal Medical Regulatory review (LMR) process.
    • Identification and communication of digital marketing opportunities to brand leads focused on HCPs, patients and other key stakeholders.
    • Monitor and identify latest digital media insights and marketing trends and provide these to key Marketing stakeholders.
    • In partnership with the COMEX team, evaluate and implement omnichannel marketing technologies (CRM systems, email platforms, programmatic advertising, etc.) to support omnichannel strategies and elevate organizational capabilities. Work closely with IT and vendors to ensure tools are integrated and functional.
  • Website design and optimization
    • Oversee agency partners in the design process and content updates for all websites, including identification and resolution of any problems with functionality both pre- and post- launch.
    • Work with technical staff to troubleshoot any issues in a timely manner.
    • Lead submission and approval of website content through the LMR review process.
    • Manage and partner with vendors to understand content performance, optimization opportunities and gather insights based on a continuous feedback loop.
    • Present key learnings to effectively communicate performance results to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Support integration with additional platforms as needed.
  • Maintain corporate and brand integrity on social media channels, and ensure use of approved visuals, messages and content.
  • Report all Adverse Events and/or Product Complaints based on monitoring review, and ensure reporting occurs withing the required timeframes.
  • Ensure that information requests coming to info@averitaspharma.com are appropriately triaged and handles.
  • Manage budgets and timelines for digital communications initiatives, ensuring effective resource allocation and project management.
  • Assist as team lead for other Marketing initiatives as needed.

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in communications-related field.
  • Career Experience
    • 6+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical marketing.
    • 3+ years in a previous omnichannel marketing role, either in-house or at an agency.

    • Proven ability to work in a in a dynamic, agile, and fast-paced environment.
    • Sense of urgency in sharing critical information with relevant stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities, and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines.
    • Flexibility in prioritizing work and ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment with a keen ability to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Skills
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful omnichannel marketing campaigns that drive revenue growth and market share.
    • Ability to develop and communicate HCP and patient engagement digital communication plans and overall project results to the organization, management and cross-functional partners.
    • Demonstrates strategic thinking, creativity, problem solving, critical analysis, and decision-making skills, with a focus on results.
    • Ability to “zoom in/zoom out,” and effectively balance strategic thinking with strong execution to drive performance and achieve business objectives.
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to inform marketing strategy.
    • Results-oriented with excellent collaboration, communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint)

 

TRAVEL

  • The ability to travel up to 25%, including overnights, as dictated by business need across USA.
  • The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment.
  • This position may be based at headquarters in NJ or remote.
