About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the design vision within a fast-growing tech company. As the Head of Product Design, you will play a critical role in driving design excellence, fostering collaboration, and ensuring a seamless user experience across our products.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced design leader to join our team. You will be responsible for setting the design strategy, mentoring a team of talented designers, and ensuring high-quality execution across all design initiatives. If you are passionate about creating impactful product experiences and leading high-performing design teams, we’d love to hear from you. Specific areas you’ll work on:

Creative Leadership:

Define, communicate, and champion the design strategy across the organisation.
Drive impactful design initiatives, ensuring high execution standards within the team.
Utilise strong project management and operational skills to oversee multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Craft & Quality:

Lead the team in delivering high-quality product designs, emphasising product thinking, problem-solving, visual design, and aesthetics.
Maintain a keen eye for design details and ensure consistency in all deliverables.
Oversee the end-to-end design process, upholding the highest quality standards.

Core Leadership:

Mentor and support product designers in their professional growth and career development.
Build and foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing design team.
Actively recruit, hire, and onboard top design talent, ensuring alignment with company culture and values.
Maintain high team performance through continuous feedback and recognition.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Integrate design within the broader product strategy and business objectives.
Foster strong collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
Develop and implement effective design processes and workflows to streamline collaboration and execution.
