The Opportunity

We are looking for our first Solutions Leader to join our team. This is a high impact role that will be working directly with the founding CEO + CRO in defining the Solutions department from the ground up! You’ll be working with our most valuable customers, helping push deals across the finish line, and architecting technical integrations that can be used by our entire customer base.
Due to the complexity of how many integrations we intend to build, navigation of the technical nuances of each integration and MVPing for maximum velocity is critical. While we do highly value technical rigor, we also value navigating the customer in a human centric way and encourage discovering solutions that don’t require any building just as much as high value integrations.
You will play a crucial part in building, defining, and scaling solutions across the entire customer lifecycle from lead to customer. You’ll work hands-on with leaders in data, customer success, product, and sales to identify opportunities that will drive impactful revenue results. You will have autonomy in how you execute on these solutions for the customer and how you abstract those solutions for the rest of our customer base.
We’re looking for someone ready to roll up their sleeves and take ownership over the solutions department. The responsibilities of the Head of Solutions will shift dynamically given the scope of the role, but here’s a good idea of what you will do:
What you’ll do:Building solutions and managing relationships using integrations, tooling, and workarounds for our top customers and prospects that are leaders in the Cannabis Supply Chain.Leveraging our growing integration suite to drive reduction in churn across our customer base.Owning and driving a vision of the integration suite of Distru and building towards that end vision with gusto.Prioritizing and working hands on with our data team to build integrations. This includes speccing the Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and working through edge cases.Navigating how simple vs configurable our solution builds are. Velocity matters and finding the highest ROI MVPs is critical.Setting up relationships and partners with other integrators, resellers, consultants, etc to increase the reach of our Solutions department.Democratizing access to data to our company and enable our customer success team to leverage middleware and SQL in their jobs.Interacting with leaders of Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and Product to surface new insights and help refine how we prioritize strategically.Running and joining strategic leadership calls with a focus on finding scalable product market fit with our solutions.Build and maintain reports that track the impact and health of the work of the solutions team.Reporting to leadership and the company the impact of solutions and training customer facing roles on new solutions we roll out.What you’ll need:4+ years of experience in Solutions, Integrations, Customer Success, or a related role, preferably in a B2B SaaS or startup environment.A first principal mindset with a love of experimentation like truly leveling up solutions with AI.Experience building integrations with various platforms such as Salesforce, Hubspot, Sage, Accumatica, QBO, etc.Experienced in SQL and comfortable debugging SQL with the data team.Good understanding of how to manage a customer pipeline like in HubSpot.Comfortable navigating Python code and middleware tooling to build custom integrations. Knowledge of the middleware ecosystem and tools (Boomi, Nifi, IPAAS, etc). High EQ with the ability to navigate conversations with multiple stakeholders.Bonus points if you have experience in ERPs, Cannabis, or supply chain software.You are flexible with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.BenefitsFully remote work environment.
