WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are searching for a Production Coordinator to join our team based in London. This position will be responsible for assisting with project workflow, providing support for the projects during pre-production and at the live events. This role assists the vast network of Production Contractors and with the operational aspects of Production at Opus to ensure the department is aligned with Opus Best Practices.
Successful candidates will be able to creatively and quickly resolve issues, be an effective team member, and provide coordination support for all events. Must be results oriented, able to meet demanding deadlines and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
YOU SHOULD HAVE
- 2+ years of event experience, preferably in event production or corporate event related fields
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office and Google Suite
(Excel/G-Sheets is a required skill, PowerPoint/G-Slides is preferred to a moderate level) - Highly detailed and able to multi-task as a Self-Starter
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaise and consult internally with Opus teams on current and future production projects
- Attending internal and client facing meetings, ability to take and issue meeting notes, address actions and communicate these with the London based team
- Executive Producer & Senior Producer support (develop production schedules, manage team travel, assist with workflow and process, documenting methodologies and best practices back to the team, develop agendas)
- Interface as requested by team members with other supplier workflow and deliverables
- Maintain department file administration
- Supplier & Contractor database maintenance
- Manage post event archiving and back ups
