Job Responsibilities
Implement Clinical Systems Architecture standard processes, standardization, and optimization strategies to enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure clinical system design and usage comply with established policies, procedures, and standards, maintaining high quality and consistency.
Provide expert-level support and resolution for issues affecting clinical systems, ensuring timely and effective fix.
Complete user account management activities, including provisioning, role setup, and periodic review to ensure role-appropriate access.
Assist in driving end-user adoption and engagement by fostering an active user community and facilitating effective communication and support.
Apply Good Clinical Practice (GCP) knowledge and clinical system configuration standard processes to handle uni- and bi-directional data connections and object-based configurations, optimizing system performance.
Partner with the clinical system Technical Owner to assist in completing transformational projects focused on automation, workflow improvements, and system interoperability.
Employ data loader, API, and business logic to efficiently bulk-create, update, and delete clinical system data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Independently set priorities and handle work direction to complete tasks effectively, demonstrating accountability and proactive problem-solving.
Design and deliver presentations and training courses to communicate system functionalities and standard processes, enhancing user proficiency and system utilization.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree
Veeva Vault Platform Certified White Belt (minimum of 500 hours of direct experience architecting, implementing, and handling clinical systems)
2+ years of demonstrable experience in clinical operations
2+ years of demonstrable experience in clinical system architecture and management
Knowledge and Skills
Technical experience:
Proficiency in configuring and architecting all facets of Veeva systems, including security, documents, objects, lifecycles, workflows, reporting, VQLs, and integrations (both Vault to Vault and external to Vault).
Experience in performing data transformations using business intelligence tools (e.g., Power Query) to efficiently clean, manipulate, and analyze data
Familiarity with APIs, including creating and handling API collections, running tests, and understanding JavaScript and JSON for interacting with and analyzing API data
