Premium & Billing Analyst!
About The Role
This position is responsible for ongoing premium and billing oversight for groups serviced by the Benefits Division, including performing accurately processing daily premium deposits, late pay and lapse processing, analysis and maintenance of D&U and suspense accounts; identify and resolve trends in premium, and performs premium audits. This role must effectively communicate internally and externally via written correspondence and phone calls. Assist with team projects and with the training of other team members; takes on the role of subject matter expert for internal processes and systems.
What You'll Do In This Role
- Premium maintenance and reconciliation for Symetra serviced policies, including review and management of suspensed and due and uncollected premium, late pay and lapse review and processing
- Accurate pre-screening and allocating premium (net and gross) for Benefits Division Policies utilizing various internal sub-systems while identifying premium calculation discrepancies and variances in premium
- Support and administer changes and setup to groups. Includes, but is not limited to: Creating new statements, rerunning statements to capture changes, terminating groups, and reviewing the policy admin system for all other billing impacting changes.
- Analysis, follow up, and resolution of premium audits including at implementation, renewal and ongoing
- Provide customer service to internal and external customers, research and resolve premium and billing questions and issues
- Assist with training and other projects as needed

Compensation
Hourly Salary Range: $22.00- $31.96 plus eligibility for annual bonus program
Who You Are
- Excellent oral/written communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented while maintaining a high level of efficiency
- Ability to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
- Ability to quickly learn complex systems with a demonstrated ability to retain detailed information relating to systems and processes
- Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation skills
- Proficient technical skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications, Word, Excel and Access and Adobe Acrobat.
