Responsibilities:What You'll Be Doing
Payroll Analyst responsibilities include reviewing payroll data and documents for inefficiencies and errors, checking whether all amounts are accurate based on hours worked and ensuring payments are made on time. Payroll Analyst handles those countries’ payroll that are assigned by the Payroll Director.
Ultimately, you’ll help us maintain an efficient payroll process that complies with all federal and state regulations.
• Preparing reports and forecasts
• Ensuring compliance with all compensation and tax regulations
• Review timesheets and attendance records and correct inaccuracies if it’s necessary.
• Managing payment transactions via e-banking.
• Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records.
• Design, document and implement procedures to streamline payroll processes.
• Manage payroll calendars for the fiscal year.
What's Needed ror the Role
• BS in Economics, Accounting, or a relevant field and 1+ years relevant experience as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Coordinator, or similar role (e.g., in accounting), or two plus years of experience in Payroll in lieu of a degree
• Experience of managing internal payroll processes.
• Experience of using HR databases and other IT systems.
• Deep knowledge of local payroll and tax regulations.
• Hands-on experience with payroll software
What Skills Needed for the Role
• Strong numerical and advanced analytical / Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to details.
• Ability to work effectively with different teams.
• The ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Business proficiency in English and Spanish.
