Position Overview
The Privacy Operations team is part of Insulet’s broader Security and Privacy Operations (SPO) department within the Technology organization. The team is responsible for the day-to-day execution of privacy management activities and global privacy operations, as well as providing exceptional privacy by design advice, embedded with product & franchise teams. Together with our Information Security Team, Data Protection Officer and Legal Privacy Counsels, you will work with business teams and other departments to ensure that personal information is protected and processed in line with customer and regulatory expectations. Your impact will be evident across Insulet’s products and business processes.
Responsibilities
Provide privacy requirements, guidance and solutions to the engineering, development teams so that products and systems conform to privacy-by- design principles;
Perform initial and periodic privacy impact assessments and data protection impact assessments;
Work with the key stakeholders within the company to implement and manage the execution of privacy initiatives related to Insulet’s Products and Systems including new product development and expansion/introduction of products into new markets;
Identify and drive improvements for Insulet’s global privacy program, including privacy management tooling and privacy enhancing technologies.
Handle/manage privacy rights requests from Customers and collaborate with employees within IT function to ensure the privacy rights requests are handled in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the Digital Marketing and other relevant teams to periodically review websites for new cookies and ensure that cookie consent solutions are implemented and configured on the relevant websites and applications.
Be a reliable business partner where various departments can pose their privacy questions, such as IT and R&D functions.

Responsible for developing privacy documents, policies, and procedures in alignment with the overall direction and strategy set by SPO leadership.
Authorized to conduct privacy reviews on systems, vendors, and business processes.

Required Skills and Competencies
Good knowledge of privacy principles, data protection regulations, and technical expertise to implement privacy-preserving techniques;

Excellent and effective communication skills in English verbal and in written.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Privacy Law, Information Technology, or a related technical field;
Professional Privacy Certification (e.g. CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) or Privacy Engineering certification;
A minimum 3+ years’ privacy experience in a regulated industry (life sciences or tech preferred).
