About the Company:

Sagan represents a leading senior housing operating company that is focused on optimizing operational efficiency, financial performance, and strategic decision-making. The company is seeking an experienced Business Operations Analyst to work closely with ownership and key executives in analyzing business data, monitoring KPIs, and developing strategies to drive profitability and efficiency.

Position Overview
:

We are looking for a Senior Housing Financial Analyst with strong experience in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) operations to support financial modeling, market research, and process optimization for senior housing properties.

Note: Due to the lack of senior housing operations in Mexico/LATAM, direct experience in senior housing is not required. However, candidates must have strong CRE operations experience to successfully analyze property performance, monitor financial trends, and drive data-driven decision-making in a real estate environment.

This role requires exceptional analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to work with complex data sets to improve operational and financial performance. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with data analysis tools, collaborating with leadership, and providing actionable insights to optimize property performance and revenue strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of operational and financial data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and revenue forecasts for senior housing properties, leveraging experience in CRE financial analysis.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and asset performance to inform business strategies.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including occupancy rates, NOI (Net Operating Income), operational expenses, and cost efficiency.

Strategic & Financial Planning:

  • Assist in budget planning and financial performance tracking for real estate assets.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop data-driven recommendations for asset optimization and revenue growth.

Process Improvement & Optimization:

  • Partner with internal teams to implement process improvements and best practices in property operations.
  • Support automation and reporting enhancements using Excel, SQL, Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment between operations, finance, and strategy in a real estate context.

Executive Reporting & Communication:

  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and ownership.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on operational and financial analysis.
  • Support executive decision-making with data-backed real estate investment strategies.

Qualifications
:

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis for Commercial Real Estate (CRE) operations.
  • Strong financial modeling and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Experience tracking key financial and operational KPIs in property management, asset performance, or real estate investment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to support executive decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and CRM software.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Understanding of senior housing operations and market dynamics (not required but a plus).
  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement systems and regulations.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with project management and change implementation.
