Job Summary:
The Business Development Representative is responsible for helping Edenred Pay obtain better brand recognition and financial growth through marketing led lead generation activities. Primary duties include prospecting warm and cold leads developed via market research, trade shows and other means. It is expected that candidates will either have the skills or can learn the skills needed to coordinate with company executives, sales, and marketing professionals, and will have the ability to review current market trends to better source potential lead targets. The ideal candidate finds building relationships enjoyable and easy and will understand the importance of identifying the customers business needs, will understand or be willing to learn how to qualify a lead, and will set new appointments with customers who may have a potential opportunity. The Business Development Representative will work closely with Outside Sales Teams to create action plans and sales strategies that will help us reach our growth initiatives — including new customer acquisition and upper funnel portfolio optimization.
