Business System Analyst – Forecast to Plan

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business System Analyst to support the Global Demand Management and Global Operations needs. This role ensures that SAP ECC and IBP configurations are in place, along with all necessary interfaces (CPI-DS, SAP PO, etc.). This role will work closely with all business groups and application developers to facilitate the development, design and support the functional areas including Demand planning, production planning, plant maintenance.

Responsibilities

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Gather requirements, contribute to design solutions, and resolve issues in a development and production support environment; conduct, coordinate, and be accountable for testing and the effectiveness of user training, Process Documentation, and System testing.
Work closely with local and international business groups and assist key users in prioritizing work requests (development, enhancements, and production support). This process will include but not limited to:
Initial assessment of the request.
Documentation: Requirements, Design, Testing and QA.
Evaluate the need for additional assistance within and outside the team.
Follow the standard procedures to seek other associates' input and help bring all business requests within "Forecast to Plan" areas to closure.
Prioritization with business and update of status in Work Request Database.
Experience in creating Business Processes and translating them into data flows and system integration.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Experience working with SAP ECC and IBP.
Experience with supply chain management, plant maintenance, and intercompany sales.
Demonstrated experience in documenting process flows and requirements, providing user feedback and making necessary adjustments to begin design specifications and estimate effort.
Adjust requirements based on user feedback to inform the design specifications and effort estimation.
Coordinate project work to support requests, plan activities, and establish realistic time schedules.
Effective written and verbal communication across all organizational levels to enhance collaboration.
Skilled in identifying gaps and collaborating with the technical team to define technical requirements.
Expertise in testing and evaluating new computer system functionalities.
Proficient in business process analysis, documentation, and presentation.
Engaged with users across various functional areas, including (Demand management, production planning, maintenance, intercompany).
Interact with technical resources.
Experience developing functional requirements specifications that outline business impact and return on investment (ROI).
Proven track record of creating procedures, processes, and guidelines that are efficient and focus on the quality of the processes or end deliverables.
Troubleshoot and resolve transaction errors involving internal users, customers, and vendors.
