About The Role

• The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and optimizing databases on Azure SQL and Oracle platforms.
• This role involves overseeing database performance, ensuring data integrity, and implementing security measures.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure SQL and Oracle databases, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex database environments.
  
  

What You'll Do

• Assist in maintaining the integrity and availability of database systems, including performing routine tasks like backups, restores, and updates.
• Monitor database performance metrics and identify potential issues.
• Assist in analyzing and optimizing database queries to improve performance and efficiency.
• Contribute to maintaining database security by following best practices and adhering to security policies.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation of database procedures and standards.
• Work closely with other team members, including developers and system administrators, to ensure smooth database operations.
• Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest database technologies and industry best practices.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience with Azure SQL, Cloud Computing, Oracle databases, database design, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
• 1 year of experience in database backup and recovery, including disaster recovery planning.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with database monitoring and management tools

Final pay, influenced by factors such as experience, skills, education, licenses/certifications, and/or geographic location, underscores our dedication to pay equity. The Pay Range For This Role Is

58,000 - 60,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
