An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Strategy and Transformation Function as we look to scale and transform the Post Office network for future generations.

As a Business Case Analyst you will support the development of Green Book-compliant business cases for major projects at Post Office Ltd. This role will primarily focus on preparation of economic cases, in collaboration with a wider team to deliver Five-Case-Model Business Cases, as well as developing monitoring and evaluation plans, and benefits realisation plans.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Experience in economic analysis, business case development and evaluation, preferably within a Green Book framework or wider public sector context.
• Strong background in economic modelling, cost-benefit analysis, and impact assessment methodologies.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• An ability to manage multiple workstreams at the same time, working flexibly as required and delivering projects within defined timeframes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with a proven ability to present complex economic concepts in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
• Competent knowledge of HM Treasury’s Green Book guidelines, evaluation techniques, and economic appraisal methodologies.
