Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our online presence, crafting compelling content, and engaging with our community across multiple social media platforms. This role is perfect for someone passionate about digital marketing, content creation, and audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with Abwaabs brand identity and goals.
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content (posts, stories, reels, videos, etc.) across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers to foster a strong online community.
  • Track social media performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, social media best practices, and emerging digital tools.
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and the marketing team to ensure cohesive and impactful content.
  • Support paid social media campaigns by coordinating assets and optimizing reach.
  • Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and engagement.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in managing social media platforms for a brand or business.
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and engagement strategies.
  • Proficiency in content creation, including writing, basic graphic design, and video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar).
  • Experience with social media analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Creativity, adaptability, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Knowledge of the education/EdTech industry is a plus.
