This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
Manage and organize a large library of short-form video content derived from podcast episodes
Create and schedule engaging Instagram posts, including captions and visual content
Develop a structured sequence of posts to ensure content flows cohesively
Edit short videos for optimal social media engagement
Implement social media strategies to grow audience engagement and follower count
Stay updated on social media trends and best practices, particularly for Instagram
Analyze social media metrics and provide insights to improve content performance
Collaborate with the podcast production team to align social media strategy with overall brand goals
Potentially expand content management to other social media platforms like TikTok in the future
Requirements:
Proven experience in managing social media accounts, particularly Instagram, for content creators or media companies
Strong proficiency in graphic design and video editing
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and structure large volumes of content efficiently
Creative mindset with a keen eye for visually appealing and engaging content
In-depth understanding of social media trends, best practices, and analytics
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
Strong written communication skills for crafting compelling captions and social media copy
Familiarity with the podcasting industry is a plus
Adaptability and willingness to learn new platforms and technologies as the role expands
Scope:
Manage social media presence for multiple podcasts, with initial focus on one primary podcast
Handle a large volume of content (approximately 150+ short-form videos)
Work on a part-time basis, 20 hours per week initially
Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM (Flexible schedule)
Potential to expand role to full-time as content volume increases
Organize and structure social media content for current and future podcast projects
