This role will report to the Global Head of Paid Social Media and work closely with our External Relations, Digital Communications, Corporate Communications and Marketing teams- as well as listed clients - to manage Nasdaq’s paid social media strategy across multiple platforms.

The Role

Nasdaq is seeking a dedicated Paid Social Account Manager to help build, optimise and deploy our paid social media strategy. The role demands creativity, energy, and a positive attitude. A successful candidate will have a consistent track record of delivering results on social campaigns, with the ability to multitask and prioritize, plus a passion for testing, learning and making data-driven decisions. In addition, excellent analytical, communication, and organizational leadership skills; sound judgment; and a passion for the ever-evolving world of paid social media and digital marketing.

This person is responsible for supporting marketing and communications initiatives with the Global Head of Paid Social. You will work across internal partner teams including creative, brand and marketing teams across the organization. You will work with key social media platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit and Twitter, and other emerging platforms. You will seek out and develop new and emerging platforms that can help us grow our customer base and brand. You will also be responsible for being innovative to identify new opportunities and new programs in the paid social space, then testing boldly, leaning into traction from these tests, and prioritising areas to scale our social marketing efforts. You should enjoy to be rigorously analytical, testing and deploying new strategies for global customer segmentation. You will also contribute to the development of new product features and tools for social marketing. Overall, you will be challenged to push boundaries, propose and implement new ideas, and establish standard processes for Nasdaq.

This person will balance the demands and interests of multiple short and long term projects across Nasdaq and our listed clients in addition to building and maintaining key relationships across the organization.

General Requirements
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to understand how their paid social goals are best represented and amplified by our social channels, and maintain brand consistency
  • A passion for social media both professionally and personally and the ability to look at and adapt quickly to new technology
  • Thrive in our fast-paced environment, fulfilling last-minute requests and quick turnarounds, while prioritizing ongoing assignments
  • Drive and scale new user growth through our Paid Social channels in our existing and expanding international markets
  • Build a strategic roadmap and quarterly tactical plans for Paid Social for each international market
  • Use a process of testing to prove hypotheses and recommend performance optimizations
  • Handle weekly and monthly reporting of channel metrics, goals, and other KPI's.
  • Work with our organic and newsroom team to help drive growth in our overall acquisition efforts across both paid and organic channels
  • Developing and owning goals and performance metrics for your campaigns; monitoring regularly to understand efficiency of strategies and find opportunities for improvement
  • Continuously developing new ideas, and testing them, to identify standard methodologies and processes
  • Ability to collaborate closely with marketing teams to define target audiences, strategize on how best to reach them, and create custom audience segments when necessary.
  • Experience in using both in-platform data and external sources to optimize audience targeting and engagement strategies.

Basic Qualifications
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Very savvy user of essential social media platforms (Twitter, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Display, TikTok, Reddit)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, great teammate with strong interpersonal skills
  • Navigates changing priorities, urgent leadership needs, brand challenges
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience working on Paid Social campaigns for international markets, understanding market nuances when it comes to keyword, creative, and LP strategy
  • A grasp of Paid Social marketing and metrics driven (performance) marketing
  • Strong analytical ability with a strong understanding of and experience with A/B testing creative assets and different bidding strategies
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience within a media/social agency, working on social campaigns specifically
  • Demonstrated ability to build, execute, and scale social marketing programs
