About Us:  We seek a highly motivated Senior Marketing Manager – Marketing Automation to develop, implement, and optimize marketing automation strategies that enhance customer engagement and drive business growth. In this role, you will oversee the design and execution of automated marketing campaigns, manage our CRM tools, and leverage data analytics to improve marketing performance. Your expertise will help Circunomics scale its marketing efforts efficiently and effectively, supporting customer acquisition and retention.
Your profile
  • 5–7 years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on performance marketing and digital channels.  
  • Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other relevant platforms. 
  • Must have: HubSpot experience across Marketing-, Sales- and Content-Hub 
  • Ideally you have additional skills in Semrush for SEO optimization (or similar), Zapier for connecting our different data buckets (or similar), and Apollo.io for lead data enrichment (or similar) being highly advantageous. 
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.  
  • Strong strategic mindset with an eye for detail in execution. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.  
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field (master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus).  
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Experience in the American and Asian markets or other international markets. 
  • Bonus Points For: 
    • Previous work in a startup or high-growth environment. 
    • Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (HubSpot). 
    • Certifications in digital marketing (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot). 
    • Technical understanding or interest in industries such as automotive, e-vehicles, energy, or the circular economy.
You Will:
Strategic Development and Execution: 
  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing automation strategies to drive lead generation, nurturing, and sales enablement across digital and traditional channels.  
  • Manage and optimize our marketing automation platform, HubSpot, to ensure seamless campaign execution. 
  • Create, manage, and analyze automated workflows, email campaigns, and segmentation strategies to improve customer engagement. 
Campaign Management:  
  • Plan, execute, and optimize end-to-end marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with our broader business objectives.  
  • Focus on performance marketing campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels to achieve KPIs.  
  • Leverage a mix of performance marketing, content marketing, and brand-building initiatives to maximize impact. 
Data Analysis and Optimization:  
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance data, identifying trends and insights to optimize ROI, CPA, and other key metrics.  
  • Implement A/B testing, performance tracking, and data-driven optimizations for marketing automation campaigns. 
Collaboration and Leadership:  
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including content, product, and sales, to deliver cohesive campaigns.  
  • Advise and supervise team members, fostering skill development and a collaborative culture. 
Innovation and Trend Monitoring:  
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing innovations to keep our strategies ahead of the curve. 
Budget Management:  
  • Develop and manage budgets for marketing initiatives, ensuring cost-effective allocation and maximum ROI.

About Us
Circunomics GmbH, based in Mainz, Germany was founded in 2019. Circunomics is leading the industry by offering a comprehensive battery lifecycle management solution. Co-Founders, Felix Wagner and Jan Born, are dedicated to establishing a true circular battery economy, which in turn maximizes each stage of battery life. Along with their team, they seek to inspire the movement of batteries from the automotive industry to the energy sector, and finally on to recyclers who close the loop by recovering any remaining raw materials.   

Circunomics has developed an AI-powered, B2B marketplace where cells, modules, and packs can be sold and purchased. Through the Circunomics Analytics product, sellers and buyers alike can obtain a detailed view of their assets. From current SoH to 2nd-life simulation, this product allows for a simpler and more profitable lifecycle management. Circunomics knows that lifecycle planning is complex, and the Battery Matchmakers are on a mission to help ease this process for their customers.  

The company has been supported thus far by seed investors and business angels. Startup builder Next Mobility Labs, recycler TES, Orlen VC, and Dr. Peter Mertens (former Chief Technology Officer of Audi) are some of the key players. The Series A funding round was completed in December of 2024 with the addition of investors, Schaeffler and GET Fund.   

Official expansion into the US Market transpired in January of 2025 with the hiring of Adam Willmouth who will serve as the company's US Managing Director. Circunomics looks forward to further collaboration with current US clients and to further growth within this key global market.
