We are actively seeking seasoned Legal/Judicial contract professionals with extensive experience in transcribing depositions and hearings for a fully remote independent contractor position.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings with precision.
• Process audio recordings, adhering to established style guides to produce accurate verbatim transcripts.
• Maintain acute attention to detail in order to accurately interpret spoken content, ensuring clarity and reliability in all transcripts.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven experience in legal transcription, especially in relation to court reporting or scoping.
• Exceptional listening abilities and adherence to deadlines and specific client style guidelines.
• Strong literacy skills, encompassing comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
• Proficiency in typing speed and accuracy, with the capability to handle sensitive audio/text content.
• Familiarity with legal terminology is essential, and court reporting students are also encouraged to apply.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

• Background in the legal environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
