Key Responsibilities

Accurately transcribe audio recordings from depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings.
Produce verbatim transcripts while strictly adhering to established style guides and client-specific requirements.
Ensure precision and meticulous attention to detail in all transcription tasks.

Required Skills

Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
Exceptional listening ability and literacy skills, including proficiency in comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
Strong capacity to meet deadlines and adhere to client-specific style guides.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote working environment.
High typing proficiency, showcasing both speed and accuracy.
Capability to process sensitive or extreme audio/text content.
Familiarity with legal terminology is essential.

Qualifications

Significant experience in legal transcription is required.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Word is necessary.
Candidates must be able to pass a background check.
Court reporting students will also be considered for this role.
