Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in HR administration or payroll management, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, payroll regulations, and labor laws in Germany and the Netherlands.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in payroll and HR software, preferably SAP HCM.
  • Experience with process digitization and technology-driven improvements is a plus.
  • Language skills: Proficiency in Dutch is required; English and/or German is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to local sites in the Benelux or Germany as needed.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our Group Business Support team as the Lead Team Member in the HR Admin Process, focusing on the Hire to Retire (H2R) function. This role will support the Head of Hire to Retire in overseeing transactional HR activities and payroll processes across Germany and the Netherlands. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of HR and payroll operations, and a collaborative mindset to ensure the smooth execution of H2R processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Hire to Retire in managing and coordinating HR administrative tasks and payroll activities across multiple locations.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely execution of payroll processes, collaborating with site-based HR Admin team members to gather and verify payroll inputs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local labor laws, insurance, pensions, and tax regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Address and resolve HR administrative and payroll-related queries, providing expert guidance where necessary.
  • Assist in optimizing H2R procedures, identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, Operations, and Compliance, to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency.
  • Contribute to the generation of periodic reports and metrics for senior management, highlighting process performance and compliance.
  • Support the digitization of HR and payroll processes, enhancing efficiency and user experience.
  • Assist in the functional management of payroll and time registration systems such as SAP HCM, EMIS, Kronos, Interflex, or PowerApps.
