Take on a strategic leadership role with our client as a Senior Project Manager supporting HR Mergers & Acquisitions. This fully remote, temporary position focuses on managing multiple projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the HR Project Management Office. You will drive project execution, enhance processes, and lead change management efforts to ensure seamless HR integration during M&A activities.
Compensation: $60/hour
Location: Remote Role (Based in Boston, MA)
Responsibilities as the Senior Project Manager:
Project Leadership: Oversee HR M&A projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful execution.
Problem-Solving: Identify roadblocks and apply continuous improvement methods like Kaizen to optimize workflows.
Change Management: Guide teams through transitions while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with sponsors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive project success.
Process Optimization: Utilize Smartsheet and other tools to improve workflows, reporting, and efficiency.
Governance & Reporting: Maintain project charters, Gantt charts, and status updates to ensure compliance and alignment.
Qualifications for the Senior Project Manager:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field required.
Experience: 4-6 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of leading projects from initiation to completion.
Certifications: PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) required.
Technical Skills: Expertise in Smartsheet, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint), and process management tools.
Skills & Attributes: Strong facilitation, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence business leaders and drive change.
Industry Knowledge: Expertise in process improvement (Six Sigma, Lean, TQM) with strong project management, data-driven decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Travel: Up to 10% travel required.
