 The Sr. Manager, Operations Support is responsible for managing strategic and operational initiatives within DaVita IKC Operations. This position will work on high priority initiatives in a rapidly growing strategic business unit by collaborating with a cross-functional team of clinical, operating, and business leaders of DaVita IKC, and DaVita more broadly. This position plays a key role as a thought partner, internal consultant, and project executor, evolving innovative models of care for CKD and ESKD patients. 

Strategic Project Management & Project Execution

  • Manages and drives strategic and operational initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams of clinical, operational, and senior business leadership  

  • Develops and communicates project scope, timeline, plan, resource requirements, and assumptions  

  • Creates, implements, and drives adoption of processes and solutions to further clinical and business outcomes  

  • Communicates project status updates and needs to senior leadership; prepares, reports, and manages against targets/goals including scope, schedule, metrics, and revenue 

  • Drives nationwide implementation and adoption of key strategic initiatives in partnership with broad group of stakeholders, including but not limited to legal, technology, clinical audit, physician and patient engagement  

  • Oversees and manages multiple Regional Operations Coordinators and Analysts; provides coaching and project sponsorship, removes barriers as necessary    

Team Leadership

  • Provides oversight and directs the day-to-day work of multiple individual contributors

  • Accountable for teammate engagement, belonging, and Special Place  

  • Manages recruiting, hiring, and onboarding activities of team

  • Manages performance evaluations and professional development of team

  • Participates in coaching teammates across the broader Ops Support lane 

Stakeholder Management

  • Serves as liaison between business / innovation teams and operations to enable success and support adoption of key strategic initiatives  

  • Serves as operations SME in forums where critical operational decisions are informed  

  • Owns / manages relationships with multiple Operations VPs 

Analytical Support for Operations Leadership

  • Supports divisional operations leadership in managing goal tracking, scorecards, project portfolio management, business reviews, and supporting projects 

  • Leverages hypotheses-based approach to identify, validate, and quantify opportunities in partnership with operations leadership; supports with analysis as necessary  

  • Designs / delivers executive communications, facilitate meetings, and manage relationships with key strategic partners including payors, physicians, and external vendors  

  • Other duties as assigned.   


Compensation:

100-140K range based upon qualifications

Salary/ Wage Range

$84,000.00 - $158,000.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
