Job description

Department Info

At Terumo Interventional Systems, we constantly work to refine and perfect our products so that interventionalists can do more. That is why we support great thinking that pushes back the boundaries of our field.

We are committed to innovation that embraces intricacies and complexities. Our exceptional tools and education programs empower physicians with the confidence they need to perform ever-more challenging procedures and spark progress.

Job Summary

As Sales Representative for Western Austria (AU), you will be part of the Terumo Sales Organisation. Your main responsibility is to plan and implement activities that increase market penetration and profitability of the Endovascular Interventions product portfolio (e.g. access – introducer kits, closure devices, catheters & therapeutics: guidewires, stents). Success in this role comes from a therapy‐ and service‐oriented approach, dedication to educational and clinical events and building strong networks with key stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

• Represent Terumo products, technologies and services among customers in your designated geography.

• Lead account management for the Peripheral Interventions portfolio in partnership with the Sales & Marketing Manager.

• Manage administrative tasks and CRM aspects throughout the sales cycle.

• Drive strategic and commercial development in your territory, regularly presenting outcomes to peers and senior management.

• Address customer concerns, escalating within the organisation (Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Legal etc.) as needed.

• Build and maintain networks, proactively acquiring new customers while strengthening existing relationships.

• Participate in local events and congresses, ensuring strong brand presence and insight into industry trends.

Profile description:

• Higher education with a medical, paramedical, or pharmaceutical focus

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role or clinical experience preferably in angiology or interventional radiology

• Ability to work effectively in an international team environment

• Commercially driven with a strong sense of collaboration and team spirit

• Flexible, able to work independently, and ready to step in where needed

• Strong organizational skills and a proactive, positive attitude toward change

• Analytical thinker with solid IT affinity (Power BI, Excel, MS Office, CRM systems)

• Professional proficiency in German and English.

• Residing in Western Austria, preferably in Linz, Salzburg or Innsbruck

We encourage a growth mindset—one that values experimentation, continuous learning and shared success. We welcome individuals who are naturally curious, adaptable and open‐minded. Networking is vital in this role: you will actively seek out and cultivate strong relationships in a changing, highly compliant medtech environment.

By joining Terumo Interventional Systems, you become part of a global leader in minimally invasive entry‐site management, lesion access and interventional technologies.

• Competitive salary, bonus and a company car

• Collaboration in a dynamic, innovative environment

• Opportunities to engage with a multinational, multicultural team

• Access to targeted resources and training programs

• Involvement in cutting‐edge digital transformation projects

• Significant field presence and travel opportunities with a direct impact on customer relationships and decision‐making

• A chance to live our mission by pushing the boundaries of interventional medicine and improving patient outcomes
