Job description

Location and Workplace: Anywhere in the Philippines, Remote

Schedule: Dayshift (5AM-2PM)

Salary: PHP30k - 50k


The Accounts | Administration Officer will oversee a variety of administrative and financial tasks, ensuring operational efficiency and supporting employee onboarding. The ideal candidate should have experience in the construction industry, excellent Excel skills, proficiency in job management software, and strong communication abilities.


About the Job


Key Duties:


Accounts & Financial Administration:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes accurately.
  • Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain financial records in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Operational & Project Administration:

  • Oversee daily administrative support for operations and project teams.
  • Coordinate project progress updates and prepare reports for stakeholders.

Onboarding & Employee Support:

  • Facilitate onboarding for new employees, ensuring compliance with company protocols.
  • Prepare employment documentation, coordinate inductions, and support initial training schedules.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure all onboarding steps are completed.
  • Act as a liaison between new employees and relevant departments for smooth transitions.

Reporting & Process Improvement:

  • Prepare financial, operational, and project reports with high accuracy.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Support management with ad hoc reporting and administrative tasks as required.


Skills and Experience


Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting or administrative role within the construction or any related industry.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, reports).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, reporting, and reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in a job management system is preferred.
  • Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with employee onboarding and maintaining HR records is highly desirable.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently.
