O que você fará

We are looking for a Cross Border Engineering Manager to lead a team of software engineers in building and maintaining the latest Cross Border applications. We are looking for a solid technical background, leadership, and experience developing scalable, high-performance systems. As the manager, reporting to a Director of Software Engineering, you will collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineering teams to inspire creativity and provide solutions that support global trade and compliance. This is a remote position.

  • You'll lead a team of software engineers, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • You will oversee the development of Cross Border applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Work with product managers to define technical requirements and align engineering efforts with our goals.
  • Guide best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, security, and deployment strategies.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate Cross Border solutions with broader company systems.
  • Manage technical roadmaps, sprint planning, and delivery timelines.
  • Resolve technical challenges, ensuring scalability and reliability of applications.
  • Develop, and retain top engineering talent.


O que precisa possuir para ser bem sucedido

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in backend development using languages such as Java and ReactJS.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and caching mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with API design, RESTful services, and event-driven architectures.
  • Communication and stakeholder management.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Cross Border, global trade, or e-commerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of tariffs, customs regulations, and trade agreements.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Background in building distributed systems and handling high-scale data processing.
