Perfaware is looking for a bilingual Project Manager to work on projects for our clients in North and South America. The Project Manager role is pivotal in managing Implementation projects that utilize enterprise software platforms, ensuring that every phase from planning to execution is handled with expertise. The role is highly collaborative and will need to work closely with account and technology teams to deliver quality solutions to our customers.
A Project Manager is key in managing projects focused on various Digital Commerce applications and platforms such as IBM Sterling, Kibo Commerce and Salesforce. They oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial concept through to completion, ensuring that the Perfaware solutions being delivered meet business needs and are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage Digital Commerce project implementation and adoption, including testing and training, working closely with Delivery managers, Partners, and other organizational units such as Dev, QA, Operations, and external IT partners.
- Manage customer-facing requests from both internal and client stakeholders, including standard service requests, change management requests, support incidents, and problem resolution.
- Establish common goals across multiple teams, and define useful metrics and reporting to track team performance.
- Manage milestones, timelines, and deliverables across multiple teams.
- Lead teams of software developers and testers through the completion of all phases of the project.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendor-related issues, including initiating and tracking support incidents and calls, leading issue resolution, and escalating complex issues as needed.
- Maintain records of Salesforce usage and performance metrics for Salesforce projects.
- Prepare reports using the relevant tools for each project, client and partner.
- Develop and maintain vendor standards for reference by the internal team and clients.
- Develop and document knowledge articles for internal clients.
- Produce deliverables as directed by project sponsor and management in alignment with each engagement’s Statement of Work
- Report to project sponsor, management, and stakeholders –using meeting minutes, action logs, risk registers, milestone attainment reports, and status reports
- Escalate risks and issues to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Participate in the Perfaware and partner community, including user groups and conference attendance, in collaboration with other team members.
- Work in EST or PST time zones flexibly depending on client projects.
- Identify and communicate lessons learned and incorporate prior lessons learned as best practices into projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years experience leading projects within a technical environment.
- Minimum of 3 years experience leading projects in an Agile development environment as a Scrum Master or Tech lead.
- Minimum of 3 years experience across Retail /CPG /Distribution sectors and IT Consulting services firms
- Proficiency in Project Management tools (e.g. Project, Excel, JIRA, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com etc.)
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines across Waterfall, Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Digital Commerce products and services, such as IBM Sterling, Salesforce, VTex, SAP.
- Proven experience managing digital transformation projects from inception to completion.
- Experience with complex enterprise systems integration and customization
- Ability to create and manage project documentation, including scope, schedule, and budget
- Highly proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners, and technical team members to deliver high quality projects.
- Hands on with project documentation. Well-versed in industry best practices and current technologies.
- Prior background in managing large, multi-team engagements.
- Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Nice to have:
- PMP or equivalent certification or Certified SAFe Agile ScrumMaster.
- Experience with Global Delivery Model
- Familiarity with modern Time & Expense tracking tools
- Understanding of data migration and management within Salesforce
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder) are a plus.
- Knowledge of Retail/Ecommerce/Supply Chain domain.
