Job description

Job purpose
As Africa Regional Financial Controller, you are responsible for the Financial Operations across Africa region of P95 and its subsidiaries, focusing on strategic financial planning, robust final reporting, risk management, cash flow optimization, effective contract management and corporate governance.  You will be responsible to ensure integrity of financial practices, compliance with local and international regulations, and supports strategic business decisions through insightful financial analysis.

  • Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis 
  • Financial Reporting and Month End Close
  • Contract and Client Billing Management 
  • External Stakeholder Management 
  • Statutory and Tax Compliance 
  • Corporate Governance and Leadership
Experience - the ideal candidate will have
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, (CPA, ACCA   or equivalent certification) through experience
  • 10 years’ Experience in Finance or Accounting experience with at least 5 years in Senior Management role, ideally in a Professional Services environment.
  • In depth knowledge of African knowledge regulations. 
  • A good command of MS Office tools, Excel proficiency is desired.
  • Experience working with an ERP system (preferably Oracle Netsuite)
  • Be fluent in English and other African Language, both written and spoken
  • Be pragmatic, proactive, showing initiative and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Be client-oriented and solutions-oriented.
  • Be multi-tasker with strong organizational skills.
