The Manager, Testing Delivery oversees a team of Testing Managers, each with their portfolio of clients. The role focuses on aligning and unifying testing delivery best practices in collaboration with other leaders, ensuring teams know company standards and tools that drive the continuous optimization of Testlio’s quality services. Your leadership will ensure a great collaboration between team members and all relevant stakeholders. You’ll stand for the team's overall development by coaching and guiding your team members, assisting with setting individual goals, and evaluating performance against personal and company KPIs while ensuring that the team members have the needed resources and tools to succeed in their day-to-day work. The Manager, Testing Delivery will lead a fully remote team while conducting weekly 1:1 meetings with their teams and providing daily support on active initiatives. They will leverage deep expertise in services management and agile methodologies to support comprehensive quality strategies across a large portfolio of clients. They will have extensive knowledge of Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, and designing Quality Strategies for enterprise-level brands. This experience will aid the mentorship of a team that supports multiple client product teams, workstreams, and stakeholders with competing priorities and unique SDLCs. Strong experience designing and architecting data-driven reports that provide actionable insights for client-facing communications is highly desirable.

What would your day look like?
- Oversee the daily activities and operations of the Testing Manager’s team, establishing efficient workflows while fostering a positive, supportive atmosphere that aligns with Testlio’s values.
- Ensure alignment with Testlio’s recommended practices across all team members and projects.
- Monitor the quality KPIs of projects led by your team members, ensuring high standards and continuous improvement.
- Provide professional support, guidance, and coaching within a team: motivating, challenging, energizing, and empowering team members.
- Partner with other members of our Services team to build an effective Around the Sun servicing model.
- Interface with clients, helping to strategize QA within their unique product SDLCs
- Mentor new team members and support the ongoing professional development of existing teammates.
- Be a champion within the team who advocates the latest Testlio platform developments and network-related process changes.
- Understand and work within the boundaries of a project's success and financial metrics, such as margin, target utilization, NPS, and more.
- Leverage your automation knowledge to challenge, guide, and mentor Testing Managers in integrating automation into the quality strategy, driving exceptional testing outcomes.
- Collect, analyze, and quantify data to produce clear and insightful reports.
- Manage ambiguity and guide the team by establishing clear priorities and timelines.
- Audit services to ensure recommended practice methodologies and KPIs are being adhered to.
- Host individual and team meetings to review the portfolio, identify areas for optimization, and report on status to Testlio leadership.
What do you need to succeed?
Technical Skills
- 8+ years of experience in quality management.
- 5+ years of quality team management experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience working with agile teams.
- 5+ years of hands-on manual testing experience.
- 3+ years experience authoring enterprise-level digital quality strategies.
- 3+ years experience in end-to-end test automation of native and/or web applications.
- 3+ years of working in a professional managed services environment.
- Knowledge of test frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, and Appium.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines such as Github, Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCi, etc.
- Ability to analyze problems, identify practical solutions, and strategically implement them.
- Ability to create value-driven reporting underpinned by key metrics: speed, cost, and quality.
- Continuous proactive learning in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, and leadership/management.
- Knowledge of unit testing, API testing, and integration testing.
- Knowledge of payment testing is preferred.
- Understanding of AI-driven test automation and analytics tools.
Human Skills
- At least 5+ years of experience in team leadership/management - a great team player with demonstrated collaboration and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to lead QA teams, upskill resources, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ability to analyze problems, identify practical solutions, and strategically implement them.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and influencing ability to win the confidence of individuals at all levels, both inside and outside the organization.
