You will be challenged to think big but empowered to make the future of health care a reality by working with cutting-edge clinical products & partners across the health continuum.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in building within digital health startups, passionate about understanding latest scientific research and medical innovations, and deeply understand the nuance and legal landscape of providing health care services, both in the telehealth and in-person setting. By nature, the ideal candidate is a builder, team player, and is excited rather than discouraged when hurdles are placed in their path. They will also have a deep passion for improving clinical care and a strong desire for helping others achieve optimal health.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the development and execution of clinical services, ranging from blood testing to advanced imaging to prescriptions to ensure that all processes are compliant, safe, and drive positive health outcomes.

  • Driving the development of our insurance strategy including payor contracts, billable CPT codes, and network management.

  • Developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control measures to maintain the highest level of patient care and safety.

  • Managing the clinical operations budget, optimizing resources and controlling costs.

  • Collaborating with the legal and compliance teams to ensure all clinical operations adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and compliance with HIPAA and other relevant data privacy and security regulations.

  • Collaborating with the product and engineering teams to provide clinical insights and ensure new products and features meet the needs of patients and healthcare providers.

  • Continuously assess and improve the company's clinical operations processes, leveraging technology and automation where appropriate to enhance efficiency and scalability.

  • Staying current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital health and clinical operations.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing clinical operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning & improvement.

  • Tracking and presenting relevant metrics to ensure the success of clinical service offerings.

Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Director, Head, or VP of clinical operations at a digital health startup.

  • Previous experience as a health care practitioner (MD, DO, NP, PA, RN) preferred but not required.

  • Deep understanding of the digital health space with a strong network of relevant partners in the industry, including relationships with labs, pharmacies, clinics and software partners.

  • Proficient in state telemedicine laws, HIPAA, and relevant legal statutes related to the provision of care in addition to legal structures related to corporate practice of medicine, MSO-PC relationships, and others.

  • Strong analytical and systems-based thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions with awareness of consequences related to specific actions.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams across different time zones

  • Experience working cross functionally in a health care organization collaborating with compliance, legal, product, and engineering teams to drive efforts end-to-end.
