Purpose:  

The Head of Franchise Operations will drive strategic and operational excellence across the franchise network, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives and standards. This executive role will lead efforts to optimize store performance, enhance franchise support and implement best practices that elevate customer satisfaction and brand consistency. Serving as the chief liaison between corporate leadership and franchise partners, the Head of Franchise Operations will work collaboratively to advance the brand’s vision, develop revenue-generating initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. 

 

Location Requirements: This position will work onsite out of our Corporate Office in Sandy Springs, GA with national travel as required by the business 

 

What that looks like day to day:  

  • Lead the development and execution of operational strategies to enhance franchise productivity, profitability, and brand consistency across all markets.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with franchisees to understand their business needs, provide support for day-to-day operations, and drive business performance. Identify and address franchisee challenges proactively.
  • Ensure all franchise operations adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures, including service quality, customer experience, and operational consistency.
  • Oversee and analyze financial and operational performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring goals are met. Develop budgets, manage resources, and guide investments in technology, training, and personnel.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of training programs to enhance franchisee and team effectiveness, focusing on customer experience, product knowledge, and operational efficiencies.
  • Partner with Marketing, Finance, Franchise Development, Legal and Compliance and other departments to deliver integrated support and initiatives that advance the company's strategic goals and drive franchise success.
  • Identify market trends and competitive opportunities, implementing innovative solutions to keep the franchise system aligned with industry developments and customer expectations.
  • Advocate for franchisee interests within the executive team, ensuring feedback from the field informs company strategies, policies, and new initiatives.

 

Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in franchise operations, retail operations, or multi-unit management with a focus on driving business growth.
  • 5-7 years in senior management role, ideally at the Director level or above, demonstrating strategic planning, operational execution, team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% based on business needs 

 

Essential Competencies:  

  • Strategic Thinking and ExecutionAbility to develop and implement long-term strategies that drive franchise performance and align with corporate goals. Skilled in balancing growth with operational efficiency, ensuring scalable , sustainable practices across franchises.
  • Financial and Business AcumenExpertise in budgeting, financial planning and performance analysis to maximize profitability across the franchise network. Understanding of KIPs and experience in interpreting data to make informed business decisions.
  • Operational Excellence: Strong knowledge of operational best practices, including SOPs, quality control, and compliance standards. Experience implementing systems and processes that enhance productivity, streamline workflows and ensure consistency across locations.
  • Franchise and Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong partnerships with franchisees, understanding their needs, challenges and goals. Ability to serve as a franchisee advocate within corporate, balancing franchisee interests with company objectives.
  • Change Management and Adaptability: Skillful in managing change within a dynamic franchise environment, including adapting to evolving market trends and regulatory requirements. Demonstrated resilience and flexibility in navigating complex, fast-paced operational challenges.
