Our Manpower and Crew Planning teams are responsible for generating rosters and the delivery of training plans for around 7500 flight and cabin crew operating across our TUI Airline network.
We’re a big, fun team, who plan complex training and flying duties for monthly publication deadlines, whilst ensuring all our plans are fully compliant with legislative requirements and limitations for crew, and that we adhere to union agreements.
It’s a complex challenge, requiring a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy, but we have the tools to optimise our outputs. Each team has its own clear focus, but works as part of the larger supportive group.
Working from either Luton (UK), Zaventem (Belgium), Rijswijk (Netherlands), Stockholm (Sweden) and Hannover (Germany) our offices benefit from an open plan environment, allowing great collaboration. Across our locations we have fab facilities like onsite coffee shops and staff restaurants. Some have regular free breakfast and after work events to catch up with your colleagues, others boast onsite gyms with free fitness classes and one even has a colleague bar! They all have one thing in common though, a great TUI team vibe.
There’s real variety in the roles within Manpower and Crew Planning. Some works shifts, some Monday to Friday. Most positions will be full time but we may have the possibility of part time too. Some have a bit of flexibility, so that once fully trained, you may occasionally work from home, whereas others are based fully onsite in our offices, operating as a close team combining resources and knowledge. For most, when our monthly deadlines are coming up, working in the office is the norm.*
It’s an exciting time for Manpower and Crew Planning at TUI as we embark on a major project to plan and implement a new Crew Management System across the network. So whilst our resident experts are busy focussing on the project, we are on the lookout for our future generation of experts!
Experience or understanding of crew rostering, crew travel practices or workforce planning is beneficial, but if you’re quick and keen to learn, with a can-do attitude, you could fit right in here even if you’ve never done this before.
All of our positions require strong business English (both spoken and written) in addition to the local language. Some locations require additional language skills.
This could be a great starting point to a successful career with our award-winning airline. So, what are you waiting for? Let's TUI it!
Initially you will commence on a 6 or 12 month contract * (depending on your location), but it is likely this will be extended or converted to permanent in line with future business needs.
Depending on where you are located, we’ll be holding onsite assessment centres or onsite/virtual interviews in early to mid-March 2025 – so, if invited, you’ll could have the opportunity to come and meet us and see where you could be working. Timelines for start dates may be subject to change but we anticipate our first intake to be early May 2025, with the opportunity to join our Talent Pool if dates are delayed.
Applications close 23 Feb 2025
