What We’re Looking For
Trillium Health Resources is seeking a Hospital Consultant to join our Network Department. This position is responsible for forming, growing and maintaining long-term partnerships with Trillium Network Hospitals, including both Acute Care and Inpatient Behavioral Health hospitals. The Hospital Consultant position requires a person who is organized, results-driven, personable, and demonstrates the ability to work independently and within a team environment. The Hospital Consultant is responsible for arranging and facilitating internal and external meetings and documenting the outcomes of the meetings with hospitals both in Trillium’s region and across North Carolina. When barriers are identified, the Hospital Consultant is responsible for working to resolve issues as well as elevating concerns when necessary.
On a typical day, you might:
- Establish a partnership and collaboration with Trillium Health Resources’ Network Hospitals based on mutual respect and accountability.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance, facilitate communication, and possible inclusion in various committees as necessary to achieve positive outcomes in quality, efficiency, and overall network performance for the benefit of members.
- Facilitate the resolution of issues identified by Trillium and/or the participating provider.
- Represent Trillium Health Resources by involvement in Provider Meetings, community programs and inter-agency conference and meetings to promote the Network and available services

Qualifications:
Required Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree in a field related to population health, business administration, healthcare administration, communication, or human services and four (4) years of experience in provider relations and engagement, network development, and/or provider contracting.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in a field related to population health, business administration, healthcare administration, communication, or human services and two (2) years of experience in provider relations and engagement, network development, and/or provider contracting,
OR
Equivalent combination of higher education/experience
Preferred Education:
Master’s Degree preferred.
Preferred Experience:
Hospital contract management or public sector business experience preferred. Experience leading project plans and overseeing deliverables preferred. Working knowledge of relevant evidence-based and best practices preferred.
Required License/Certification:
Must have a valid driver’s license
Location:
Remote within North Carolina.
Must reside in North Carolina to be considered for remote status.
