About our Front-end Platform team

We support our Front-end Engineering teams by maintaining common functionality for our Front-end Developers and we bridge the gap when it comes to infrastructure. Through our open-source component library Orbit, as well as various internal tools and libraries, we strive to maintain a consistent, stable and performant tech stack for our teams, with an overall goal to increase their velocity, ease team mobility and lower the maintenance burden.

What you will do

You will help us to get ready for the European Accessibility Act.

You will design technical solutions and processes for the long-term success of Kiwi.com, keeping business impact at the forefront of your thoughts.

You will help us maintain and improve our internal tools, libraries, and apps. This includes maintaining integration between third-party localization services and our frontends, maintaining image infrastructure for frontends, and maintaining shared React components.

You will share your knowledge and experience through Front-end gatherings and/or mentoring.

What you will need

You need to know and/or have working knowledge of React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Jest, Testing library, Playwright, Babel, ESlint, Webpack, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, Cloudflare Workers, GitLab CI, Sentry, and Datadog.

You need to have great communication skills, both written and spoken, with fluency in English.

You would benefit from having previous work experience in cross-team collaboration.

You would benefit from having previous work experience in an accessibility-first organization.

You would benefit from having previous work experience in a large frontend (mono)repository.
