The Role
As a Project Manager (ATO) at UberEther, your role includes leading implementation efforts for customers onboarding to our ATO-Advantage platform. You will leverage existing experience leading multifunctional and multicultural project teams to influence and to ensure project success by delivering security solutions that consistently meet our clients’ organizational goals. You know how to drive resources proactively to meet critical milestones and guarantee quality deliverables for the customer.
Being remote, you will participate as an integral member by working collaboratively with business analysts, engineers, technical writers, and the client to design and implement solutions using a variety of tools and vendor products. You will also grow and develop professionally through these relationships and your exposure to the different complexities of compliance and cloud security.
Responsibilities
The Project Manager role is comprehensive and may include:
- Understanding the business direction of organizations and creating optimized cloud security plans to meet their business needs
- Working with business and system owners to understand and expand user security, compliance, and deployment requirements
- Participating in requirements gathering for a platform deployment that can be articulated across functional groups and aligned with ATO-A projects
- Coordinating and conducting meetings and technical working sessions (TWS) with stakeholders on current state and overall program tasks
- Contributing to the creation of a project plan and deliverables outline in coordination with key stakeholders and team leadership
- Client project tracking to ensure a project delivery within budget and on time.
- Creating weekly status reports, organizing meetings, and concisely documenting the progression of the project.
Qualifications
- 5+ Years of Project/Program Management experience
- 5+ years supporting IT or engineering related initiatives
- Knowledge of the Authority to Operate (ATO) process
- Ability to manage cross functional teams and multiple project efforts simultaneously
- Self-managed, self-driven, accountable, learns to understand
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving
- Ability to translate business problems, existing processes, and technology into service and process requirements
- Demonstrated ability to meet rigid timelines and communicate effectively with clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present documentation and influence decision making
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Candidate must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment-based sponsorship now or in the future
Desired Skills
- Industry-adopted security certifications (e.g., PMP, Net+, Sec+, CISSP)
- Knowledge of information security and risk control frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, ISO 27001, ITIL, and ITSG
- Good grasp of operational, regulatory, and other risks related to the area of Access and Identity
- Government security clearance or the ability to obtain one
- Experience working in a commercial or federal contracting environment
Location
This role is offered as a fully remote or hybrid position based out of our Sterling, VA office.
Salary
The salary range for this position is $145,000-$165,000.
