Cobol Project Manager (telework + travel)

Arcetyp LLC is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients.  Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services.

We are recruiting an experienced Cobol Project Manager to join our team. Work is remote with some travel to Ohio in February and March, one week each.  

POSITION DUTIES:  Primary job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Serves as the project manager and shall assist the government PM in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), government SMEs, and customer agency representatives.
• Under the guidance of the Program Manager, responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.
  

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Applicants MUST have this experience:

• Must have more than seven (7) years relevant experience with at least five (5) years of leadership experience
  • with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
• Preference for managing IT modernization efforts within the federal government environment.
• Program Management certification (i.e. Program Management Professional (PMP) certification, other recognized certification, etc.) preferred but not required.

EDUCATION:

• BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experience.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission.
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAM Level II
  
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority.

WORK AUTHORIZATION:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
