Job description

As a Post- Sale Settlement Analyst, you'll collaborate with an experienced team of industry professionals to help deliver a best-in-class transactional experience for our clients. You'll work in a fast-paced environment requiring collaboration with Administration, Accounting, Treasury and Sales teams to ensure the accurate and timely execution of our post-sale processes.

What you’ll do

  • Support the Live Auction & Private Sale post sale processes.
  • Creating and reconciling seller recaps and payments.
  • Lead AR/AP process for all sales.
  • Reconcile sales data to CRM/Speed Digital.
  • Building data sets for post-sale KPI’s.
  • Supporting operations with expense forecasting. 
  • Tracking and coordinating vendor setups, along with title & lien status to deliver best in class post sale process. 
  • Identify and participate in remedying process bottlenecks that impact our post sale execution. 
  • Supporting financial operations including:
    • Partner with accounting to reconcile sales transactions in Workday.
    • Cash forecasting
    • Long Range Plan and Budget support
    • KPI tracking to support financial reviews. 
       

This might describe you

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Preferably has auction or collector car market experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability with very strong attention to detail
  • Excited about working in a startup environment with autonomy and independence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to deliver under time pressure and deadline
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Experienced in Microsoft excel and other suite applications
  • Ability to manage time in an independent work from home environment
  • Positive mindset with strong orientation for teamwork and collaboration
  • Experience with Workday Accounting is an asset.  

Other things to note

  • This role can be worked from any U.S. or Canadian remote location.
  • Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable. For SOX compliant roles, responsible for designing, executing, and documenting internal controls where they have been identified as owners to prevent errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations. Including attestation to the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting data, where applicable.
