Are you a data-driven financial professional with a keen eye for cost optimisation and operational efficiency? We’re looking for a Commercial Analyst – EP Road to play a key role supporting our Road Express Parcels business. Reporting to the National Commercial Manager – Road you will play a key role in analysing financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and supporting strategic decision-making. 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Analyse & Report: Develop cost reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to drive financial insights. 
  • Optimise & Improve: Work closely with branch managers and operational teams to implement cost-saving initiatives. 
  • Monitor & Evaluate: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure accurate and timely reporting. 
  • Business Case Development: Assist the Commercial Manager in creating detailed business cases for new investments, initiatives, including analysis, risk assessment, and strategic alignment. 
  • Support Decision-Making: Assist the Commercial Manager in building financial models and analyses that guide business strategy. 
  • Collaborate & Influence: Communicate analytical findings clearly to key stakeholders and contribute to strategic projects. 
  • Present Key Findings: Prepare materials for senior management, showcasing insights and actionable recommendations.

What You’ll Bring: 

  • A tertiary qualification in Economics, Accounting, or Business (CPA/CAA preferred). 
  • At least 4 years of experience in commercial analysis or a similar field. 
  •  Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting skills. 
  •  Advanced Excel proficiency with the ability to manipulate complex data. 
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. 
  • A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
