Daily challenges

  • Builds consensus around the impact of evolving vendor/market/competitive/analyst licensing insights to add value to Asset Management services and deployment of new offerings.
  • Engages SLMS Offering & Capability Leads with latest market/analyst licensing insights to evolve our services, tools & deploy new offerings, be the conduit to develop & align SLMS Offering collateral, refs, training to equip sales/solutioning, manages sourcing, creation & delivery of regular, consolidated vendor program, product and licensing changes to SLMS customers WW/offering, solutioning, account teams.
  • Focused on evolving and adding value to our services; researches & presents contextual findings from vendors/market/competitors/analysts, deep dives on topics/points of interest, internal workshops with Asset Management stakeholders and collaborates in how/if/when to move ideas forward.
  • Builds and evolves Asset Management collateral and messaging (primers, battlecards, sales guide, customer-facing presentations) & other assets across the offering to position the business strongly & equip the sales and solutioning communities.
  • Highly engaged in Asset Management responses and related sales/solutioning/AE calls relating to RFPs, RFIs and related requests and follow up requirements. Recent examples: Julius Baer RFP, Shell RFP, State of Texas/DIR RFO, Goodyear RFI & renewal quote for Adobe VIP Enterprise, Irish Aviation Authority RFT, Insurance Australia Group EOI, developed Asset Management’s very detailed submission for UK Govt. G-Cloud Framework V14 (2-day TAT).
  • Collaborating on development and roll out of LMS (new service) and all LMS collateral and communications. Recent examples: Proactively developed DXC customer-facing webpages for LMS (overview welcome page & 3 related deep-dive webpages), LMS Solution Guide, pitching LMS in presentations (e.g., Tetra Pak)  & RFPs (e.g., Julius Baer, IAG), LMS decks for MW sales training & solutioning training sessions.
  • POC to support Asset Management Offering & Delivery leadership across an array of high-level engagements (internal/external). Recent example; Asset Management slides as part of Modern Workplace pitch [in guise of a customer] to our CEO, Raul Fernandez.
  • Manages monthly (and ad-hoc) end-to-end research and communication program to SLMS customers & CSP accounts on (multi)vendor program, product, licensing and pricing developments likely to impact them (as required by SLMS Solution Packs).
  • Saves Asset Management ongoing development costs by managing the SLMS Admin portal for the proactive build out and evolution of customer communications webpages, ticketing webpages and LMS and OLS webpages.
  • Manages back-end of Sales Momentum and MW InfoZone to keep Asset Management presence up to date on those tools. 
  • Delivers monthly training to customer-facing Run teams to prepare them for queries/discussions with customers around vendor changes/new developments.
  • POC to build out Asset Management content suitable for customer-facing websites. Recent examples; Asset Management Capability-level pages for DXC.com (x3), Microsoft AppSource (LMS pitch).

eXperience and skills required

  • Microsoft Licensing Certified Professional is must
  • 10+ years Licensing Customer Support for large Enterprise clients globally
  • Microsoft Licensing Certified professional in Licensing Fundamentals, Licensing Solutions Expert: LORG, Licensing Solutions Expert: SMB
  • 10+ years of experience in Software Licensing Industry and evolution of Asset Management offerings.
  • Experienced in engaging sales, solutioning and AEs and supporting Offering & Delivery leadership.
  • Ability to build & manage a variety of financial opportunity pipelines essential
  • Experience in resolving high value customer disputes & high stakes negotiations with vendors
  • Experience of third party software resale business, including dealing with end-customers directly regarding Microsoft licensing requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Licensing Desktop and Server software,
  • Proficient in Azure subscription management
  • Excellent written and spoken business English,
  • in-depth Microsoft EA licensing knowledge, and product related knowledge across the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Skilled in Business Alliances, Business Development, and Partner Management.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), organization, and time management skills required
  • Solid problem solving and consultative skills a must
  • Knowledge of the sales process combined with the ability to establish and maintain rapport with both internal and external customers is needed
  • Fluency in English language (spoken and written)
