The Product Foundations team builds systems that abstract away complexities, allowing developers to focus on building delightful experiences. The Observability and Experimentation team within Foundations builds APIs that allow gradual rollouts of features, A/B testing, error reporting, localization, and performance tracing of applications.

This is a remote opportunity within Canada. This position will be for 4 months - May to August 2025.
What you can expect:Design and Implement new APIs that several teams of developers use to build features.Analyze and improve performance of our web, browser extension, mobile, and desktop applications.Develop clean and performant code and testsParticipate in design and code reviewsWhat we're looking for:Confidence: A willingness to take on new challenges, and see them through to completion.Humility: You're not afraid to ask "stupid" questions and make mistakes (as long as you learn from them).Curiosity: You look for better ways of doing things, even if everyone seems happy with how they are.Teamwork: We work together, and succeed as a team!Bonus points for:Experience with TypeScript, Rust or Go.Some experience with CI/CD or browser extensions.
