RPG Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, code, test, and debug RPG applications to meet business needs.
  
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing RPG applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  
• Work with other systems and platforms.
  
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications.
  
• Collaborate with business analyst, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
  
• Analyze and optimize application performance to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
  
• Participate in system upgrades and enhancements to keep applications current with evolving business needs and technology advancements.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years' experience using JDA/ MMS application
  
• At least 6-8 years' work experience in RPG/GPGLE/SQL RPGLE & CLP on AS400
  
• Familiar with connect: Direct file transfer, Control-M job scheduling, MQ set-up
  
• Experience with proper debugging tools and techniques of interactive and batch jobs
  
• Expert skills and experience in data migration, integration, and transformation methods
  
• Ability to write technical documents
  
• Sub-procedures and Stored Procedures
  
• Can work independently
  
• Good programming skills
  
• Good communication and documentation skills
