POSITION SUMMARY
The National Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing sales potential within their designated territory by building strong relationships with existing trade partners, increasing brand awareness, and identifying new business opportunities through consultative sales strategies.
This role serves as a key representative of the Brendan Vacations brand within the travel industry and public, working closely with North American District Sales Managers to execute sales plans and achieve passenger and revenue targets. The National Sales Manager also identifies growth opportunities for partners by aligning them with the Brendan brand that best fits their needs, driving long-term success and expansion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Account Management:
- Develop and implement customized sales and marketing plans with key accounts, using a consultative sales approach.
- Strengthen relationships with key accounts through regular communication, performance updates, and strategic business planning.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Actively seek and develop group business opportunities, maintaining engagement from initial inquiry to post-travel follow-up.
- Ensure all requested sales reports are accurate, detailed, and submitted on time.
Performance & Strategy:
- Utilize CSP (Customer Sales Process) to establish a Best-in-Class sales team with a customer-centric approach.
- Stay informed about competitor activities and industry trends, providing strategic insights to the management team.
- Meet and exceed company KPIs, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with overall company goals.
Technology & Reporting:
- Effectively use Salesforce to manage and maintain sales territories.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including training sessions, appointments, tasks, and customer feedback.
- Leverage Salesforce reports to provide valuable insights during client interactions, training, and email communications.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years in sales and customer service.
- 3+ years in the travel industry (preferred).
- 3+ years in territory sales (preferred).
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on PowerPoint for impactful presentations.
- Experience with web tools, webinar platforms, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Strong Excel skills for data analysis and account management.
- Quick learner, adaptable to new digital tools and technologies.
TRAVEL & ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- 50–75% travel, including some overseas trips.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Must provide a suitable vehicle with required licenses and insurance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a corporate credit card (or personal card with a $5,000 limit for expenses).
- Expertise in Ireland & Scotland with at least 12 months of residency in one or both locations.
