ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Project Manager II (PMII), you will be responsible for overseeing medium-to-large projects with moderate complexity. You will leverage your experience and skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Your role will focus on planning, execution, risk management, and fostering collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders. 

 

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED  

  • Bachelor degree in Project Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • 3–6 years Project Management experience managing medium-to-large scale projects.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Jira, Trello, or similar tools for tracking and execution.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and achieving project goals.
  • Risk Management & Issue Resolution
  • Strong ability to engage stakeholders, align expectations, and drive collaboration at all levels.
  • Consistently meets critical deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards and managing costs effectively.
  • Skilled in managing conflicts, fostering teamwork, and maintaining project momentum.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS PREFERRED  

  • Travel industry experience preferred
  • Certifications: PMP certification strongly preferred
  • Agile certifications (PMI-ACP, CSM) are a plus.
  • Global experience preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Planning & Execution – Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Risk Management – Identify potential risks, create mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues to minimize project disruptions.
  • Project Communication – Act as the central communication hub, providing clear and consistent updates, facilitating approvals, and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting – Monitor project progress, address variances, and deliver reports to executives, including post-project reviews for continuous improvement.
  • Leadership & Team Management – Lead cross-functional teams, promote accountability, and ensure collaboration across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Documentation & Compliance – Maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, schedules, meeting records, and change requests.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Facilitate meetings, align business objectives, and ensure transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

The Global Business Solutions office utilizes a combination of analytical tools, industry best practices, and cross-functional collaboration to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, implement technology solutions and drive innovation. 

Within the Global Business Solution department sits the Global Project Management office. The GPMO is responsible for ensuring flawless execution for every project that is executed across our global organization. Dedicated to guiding initiatives to successful completion, the PMO applies best practices, rigorous risk management, and a commitment to continuous improvement. From initial planning to final delivery, the GPMO plays a critical role in driving operational excellence and aligning projects with our strategic goals, enabling the organization to achieve its objectives efficiently and effectively.
