Job description

This is a remote position.


Scope:

  • Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM Mountain House, CA Time with 1 hour unpaid lunch break

  • Manage multiple social media accounts (both personal athlete profiles and business accounts)

  • Create and schedule daily social media posts across various platforms

  • Produce 2-3 highlight reels per week from sports footage

  • Develop monthly content calendars for business social media strategy

  • Assist with weekly website updates and content refreshes

  • Conduct bi-weekly email marketing campaigns

  • Provide weekly analytics reports on social media performance and engagement

Responsibilities:

  • Create highlight reels and short videos from sports footage for teenage athletes

  • Manage and grow social media presence for the business 

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to reach specific target audiences

  • Write engaging captions and create content that resonates with both teenagers and potential therapy clients

  • Use trendy music and current social media trends in content creation

  • Assist with basic website updates and content management

  • Conduct email marketing campaigns and manage online community engagement

  • Provide insights and analytics on social media performance

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role (APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT PORTFOLIOS)

  • Strong video editing skills, particularly in creating short-form content

  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite)

  • Understanding of current social media trends, especially those appealing to teenagers

  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences

  • Basic web content management skills

  • Familiarity with email marketing best practices

  • Strong time management and organizational skills
