About JLLT Software Engineering: Our team belongs to the Capital Markets Group, supporting different business lines within the Capital Markets business. Specifically, we are currently working on a strategic product supporting the Debt Advisory business.

What the job involves: 

We are currently seeking a Summer Intern in Software Engineering to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting our application in the US time zone, focusing on maintaining smooth operations of our processes while collaborating actively in the development of new features. You will learn all the aspects of a complex software application and how a real data workflow works, using modern cloud and data architecture patterns.

As a Summer Intern in Software Engineering at JLL, you will:  

  • Monitor and ensure the continuous operation of ETLs and backend processes.

  • Identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise during application runtime.

  • Implement fixes or develop temporary workarounds for emerging problems.

  • Document encountered problems and implemented solutions.

  • Assist in improving system reliability and performance.

  • Collaborate with the development team to develop new application features, in both front-end and back-end side.

  • Work in an international environment, engaging with teams from different regions (Americas, EMEA and APAC).

  • Dates:  June 2, 2025 – August 8, 2025

  • Location: East Coast, USA | Remot

Education, Skills, and Experience 

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree, with 2-3 years completed majoring in Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of database systems and ETL processes.

  • Familiarity with backend technologies and programming languages (e.g., .Net (C#), Python, Node.js).

  • Basic knowledge of cloud computing platforms (specially with Azure).

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

We do not offer relocation assistance or housing for our internship program.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

10,000.00 – 12,800.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
